Talenti Spa – Leaf Collection
Leaf, Natural Inspiration According To Marco Acerbis
The lightness and elegance of flower petals were the incipit for a new vision in which carefully considered yet generous proportions are combined with the comfort of the softest and most sensuous cushions. A few elements, very light and well balanced. Sleek, slender legs lift the volume of the sofa and create a strong sense of suspension, as if the horizontal elements were almost floating in the air, just like a flower on its stem. The chair becomes a big hug that accompanies you in pleasant moments of outdoor relaxation. This collection also features a 100% green fabric, confirming the symbiotic link between natural inspiration and respect for nature.
Leaf’s unique aesthetic: a 100% made in Italy woven material. Strongly influenced by the world of fashion, by collaborating with a highly qualified company, Talenti has succeeded in creating a unique woven material for the armrests and backrests of the Leaf collection that is 100% made in Italy. Starting with a polypropylene cord, the strands are intertwined with each other in a number of different compositions chosen by the designer, using looms dating back to the 70s and 80s. This process makes it possible to give the product an exceptional degree of dimensionality, a visual and tactile effect that no other product on the market can offer.
The fabric is made from 100% recycled, post-consumer PET bottles. After years of research, Talenti has introduced new collections that feature a 100% green fabric created from recycled, post-consumer PET bottles, which is also recyclable when it reaches the end of its lifecycle. Fully in tune with the circular design philosophy, this range of fabrics is Made in Italy, using local suppliers and a unique production process. Through a chemical-free, mechanical process that is safe for the environment, the plastic bottles are transformed into small flakes, then into polymers, and finally into recycled PET fibre. The use of recycled polyester, which requires fewer processing steps, allows considerable energy and water savings and a clear reduction in carbon emissions during the production process.
This incredible material boasts some impressive numbers: 64% less energy waste, 94% less water waste, and a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions.
