2025 marks the year in which our own developed and in-house produced material Alamar has been specified and used for so many cruise and yacht projects as never before. Cristallux delivered multiple eye-catching projects with this sustainable alternative for: Disney Destiny, Disney Adventure, NCL Aqua, Oceania Allura, Four Season, MSC, Princess Star, Star of the Seas, Celebrity Xcel and many more including all the dry dock projects. Specified by the likes of YSA, SMC, Tillberg Design, Rockwell Group, Studio Dado, and cruise company’s internal architects/designers, Alamar was used to create room dividers, large chandeliers, wall and table lights, illuminated panels, and even tables – all produced in Cristallux’s factory Made in Germany. But why do designers choose Alamar as their go-to material for illuminated objects, art works, wall and ceiling paneling, and room dividers? – Alamar is 100% recyclable, produced without any waste, and part of a truly circular production process – up to 4 life times in-house and collaborating with the automotive industry beyond a 5th and 6th life time. Its ultra-light weight makes it especially ideal for applications in the cruise ship and yacht industry. It’s also shatter-proof, providing exceptional safety and durability.
On top of that, Alamar is fully customizable in shape, texture, and colour, giving designers total freedom to create unique, high-impact pieces that align perfectly with their vision.
