Designed by Studio DADO, Crema Café on EXPLORA III reimagines the familiar European café as an all-day social hub at sea. Located on Deck 5, the 78-seat venue was conceived as a place guests could return to again and again, whether for a morning espresso, an afternoon read or an unhurried conversation. Rather than treating the café as a transactional food-and-beverage stop, the design gives it the warmth, ease and character of a favorite neighborhood gathering place through rich materials and European craftsmanship.
Studio DADO balances intimacy with openness throughout the space. Comfortable lounge seating creates smaller zones for conversation and pause, while expansive windows keep the ocean constantly in view. Warm woods, tactile upholstery and rhythmic overhead elements bring depth and energy to the interior without competing with the horizon. At the café counter, the ritual of coffee becomes part of the experience, with barista service and a display of pastries, sweets and gelato adding color, movement and a sense of discovery throughout the day.
Crema Café succeeds because it responds to how guests live while at sea. The flexible layout accommodates solitude and sociability with equal ease, allowing the atmosphere to shift naturally as the day unfolds. Refined without feeling formal, it gives EXPLORA III a welcoming gathering place with a clear point of view. Studio DADO transforms an everyday ritual into a memorable hospitality experience, connecting thoughtful design, human interaction and the ever-changing view outside.
