The opulent, two-story suite perched high in the funnel above the upper deck has two master bedrooms and a children’s room with bunkbeds on Deck 15 and a library that can also serve as an additional ensuite king bedroom on Deck 14. The double-height living room features a floor-to-ceiling glass window. The living room is flanked by a dining area and a bar. In addition, the suite, which can accommodate up to eight guests, has a larger butler’s pantry, a private outside entry on Deck 12 and a private elevator that is accessible from Deck 10.

The suite takes its cues from the ultimate legends, the Avengers in general and Iron Man in particular, to create a modern yet cozy take on the sleek, high-tech world of Tony Stark, most notably his Malibu mansion. The space is the ultimate combination of “strong” architectural materials, mechanical elements and soft, inviting finishes – rich woods, handsome stones, circuit board-like patterns – that add up to a luxurious penthouse experience.

Artworks in the suite include cold cast brass pieces by ceramicist and screen printer Petr Weigl; a series of pieces in mixed metals and plating with patinas by British artist Rebecca Gouldson; bespoke embroidery curated by London-based designer Fameed Khalique; hand-colored etchings by visual artist Bronwen Sleigh; and linocut prints by South African artist and printmaker Bevan De Wet.

There is also a music-and-light piece that springs to life when guests open the door to the suite. It was inspired by Tony Stark’s Arc Reactor technology.
