The Disney Adventure is a landmark cruise and themed entertainment project that reimagines what a cruise ship can be—an immersive destination rooted in Disney storytelling. Launched on December 21, 2024, it is Disney Cruise Line’s largest vessel and the first to bring Disney experiences to Southeast Asia. At 208,000 gross tons, with 20 decks and 2,111 staterooms, the ship accommodates up to 6,700 guests and ranks among the world’s largest cruise ships. Originally begun as the Global Dream, the partially completed vessel was acquired by Disney Cruise Line in 2022 and transformed over three years into a fully realized Disney experience. The project showcases exceptional creative ingenuity, converting an unfinished mega-ship into a cohesive, story-driven environment. Onboard, guests explore themed districts including Disney Imagination Garden, Marvel Landing, Toy Story Place, Wayfinder Bay, San Fransokyo Street, and Town Square. These areas integrate dining, attractions, and entertainment with immersive design and storytelling. Highlights include Disney’s first castle at sea, the longest roller coaster at sea, and the largest fully immersive themed area ever built on a Disney ship. Entertainment spans Broadway-style shows, fireworks, and innovative experiences like “Disney’s Remember,” “Moana: Call of the Sea,” and “Avengers Assemble!” With cutting-edge design and narrative-driven environments, Disney Adventure sets a new benchmark for cruise-based immersive entertainment.
