As a signature space on each of Regent’s ships, Grandeur’s Observation Lounge has the atmosphere of a private club. The art deco detailing and residential furnishings evoke the glamor of old New York and Rockefeller Center. Bookshelves and alcoves provide privacy with hand-sourced art accenting every wall. The oversize chandelier is the lounge’s focal point, composed of mesh paneling with embedded crystals, shaped like a flower unfolding. This is a multifunctional space that is a lounge during the day and an entertainment venue at night, leading the team to think through every chair and seating arrangement, giving the room a sense of personalization and intimacy, within an undeniably spacious floorplan.
