Ocean Thrills is a high-energy, three-deck outdoor activity destination aboard Norwegian Luna that reimagines the traditional cruise ship recreation deck as an immersive, interconnected entertainment environment for every generation.

Designed around the idea that the experience should be as exciting to watch as it is to participate in, Ocean Thrills brings together physical activity, interactive technology, dynamic lighting, sound, and destination-inspired storytelling. Thrill-seekers can jump directly into the action, while families and friends can watch, cheer, compete, and share the experience from throughout the space.

At its heart is the Aqua Slidecoaster, the longest and fastest waterslide at sea, combining electromagnetic roller-coaster launch technology with a traditional waterslide experience. Spanning three decks, the attraction is enhanced by curated audio and dynamic exterior illumination, transforming it into both a signature thrill ride and a dramatic visual landmark.

Surrounding it is an unprecedented collection of experiences, including the all-new Moon Climber, a three-story interactive playground combining physical climbing with digitally assisted games, responsive lighting and sound; Luna Midway, a contemporary interpretation of the classic boardwalk midway; the technology-enabled Tee Time mini-golf experience; the immersive Glow Court; and a collection of competitive and social activities including Stadium, Bull’s Eye and Pickleball.

A cohesive visual language connects the individual attractions, while programmable lighting, sound, interactive media, and dedicated day-to-night modes allow Ocean Thrills to continually transform throughout the voyage. Even previously underutilized areas surrounding the ship’s funnel become part of the experience, extending Moon Climber vertically and offering guests unexpected perspectives across the activity decks, ocean, and inner workings of the ship.

The result is more than a collection of attractions: Ocean Thrills is a vertically integrated entertainment destination where architecture, technology, movement, and spectacle come together to create a constantly evolving playground at sea – one designed to be played, watched, shared, and remembered.
