In under 2 weeks, Bath Fitter Marine Solutions’ transformed 68 guest cabins in a dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas on Holland America’s Oosterdam line. This represents four decades of expertise meeting marine engineering innovation. We’ve reimagined what’s possible by adapting our signature PermaFit™ solutions to the demanding challenges of shipboard installation.

Each bathroom features a PermaFit Aristocrat two-piece bathtub paired with a seamless PermaFit wall in White Genova and a coordinating PermaFit floor in Palermo White, creating a bright, modern look that is easy to clean and built to last. A new mirror and vanity complete the refresh with clean lines and practical storage. Collaborating with UK partner GEMM for vanity units and lighted mirrors, we elevated each cabin to boutique hotel standards while maintaining maritime durability. Every component is custom measured, fabricated, and installed to fit the existing footprint, which reduces demolition, shortens out of service time, and limits waste. The result is consistent guest experience across cabins, a smarter maintenance profile for the operator, and a contemporary aesthetic that aligns with premium verandah accommodations.
Our breakthrough lies in systematic precision: Every vanity configuration is mapped in advance, materials are pre-labeled, and logistics get coordinated across many time zones. This orchestrated approach transforms complex marine challenges into seamless execution within confined cruise-vessel spaces.

Laser-precision measurement technology combined with artisanal craftsmanship allows installation over existing units without typical marine renovation disruption. Our team of 41 professionals worked in perfect synchronization during the critical dry dock period.
