Tillberg Design of Sweden is delighted to present Piscine, the central pool deck aboard Four Seasons Yachts I, for consideration in the Best Public Space category.

Located on Deck 5, Piscine reimagines the pool deck as the social heart of the yacht – a space where the openness of life at sea meets the intimacy of a private yacht. By day, it is a sun-drenched retreat: a generous pool at its centre, its bespoke mosaic floor animated by expressive marine motifs, with wide stepped entries easing guests into the water. Around it, sun loungers, sheltered daybeds, and built-in sofas offer a choice between quiet privacy and easy sociability.

But Piscine holds a second identity. At the touch of a button, its raisable pool floor rises to meet the surrounding deck, concealing the water and transforming the space into a seamless, flexible venue – ready for a wedding, a fashion show, a reception, or a live performance, all without a trace of the pool beneath.

At the water’s edge, Bar Piscine keeps the deck’s rhythm going from morning to night: guests can unwind poolside with Mediterranean-inspired fare, refreshing iced treats, and a comprehensive selection of aperitifs and wines – with mojitos carved from fresh ice among its signature touches. As the sun drops, the bar becomes the natural gathering point for aperitivo, its warm timber, polished metal, and softly rounded forms echoing the craftsmanship of classic yachting, set beneath a striking decorative artwork that gives the space its own cultural identity.

A palette of natural timber, warm white upholstery, and deep blue accents ties it all together, while glass balustrades keep the sea always in view. From calm mornings to celebratory evenings, Piscine is never just a pool deck – it is where the yacht comes together.
