At the top of the ship, the one-of-a-kind Regent Suite is a truly signature space aboard Grandeur. The 4,000-SF suite is designed to feel like the home of an international art collector, where the bespoke furniture exudes a deep sense of craftsmanship and impeccable taste. Every detail, every fabric and material, every item of furniture, and every piece of art has been hand- selected and hand-crafted to match the aesthetic.
A screening element in the vestibule sets the stage for the level of artistic and architectural detail guests can expect throughout the suite. In front of the dining area, the parlor skylight and 180-degree panoramic windows make for spectacular ocean views from the custom chaise lounges. Hardwood floors with marble inlays enhance the luxury residential feel, along with bespoke chairs, furniture, millwork and a faux fireplace that hides the television and serves as yet another piece of sculpture. The bar area cabinetry is entirely clad in matching marble, a challenging design feature that elevates the bar to a sculptural piece of art. The globe wooden base of the circular dining table makes it appear as though it is hovering over the floor, creating a fascinating illusion that leaves guests to wonder how it is held in place.
The bedroom is large enough to include a living space with a TV area and a collection of art, books, and decorative accessories. The headboard wall is anchored by a custom églomisé glass piece created by Canadian artisans. The master suite bathroom is comparable to the highest end spa, with heated marble loungers, a carved marble tub and a television that pivots above. The circular glass shower takes center stage and is made of custom-shaped glass sheets molded specially for this suite. The artwork in the suite was hand-selected and sourced to elevate the space, and stands proudly within one of the most impressive art collections at sea.
