An adults-only paradise, The Hideaway brings the beach club vibes of Tulum and Mykonos to Icon of the Seas. Located on the aft of the ship, this is the party hotspot with energizing beats from the nearby DJ booth as the soundtrack. Every sea day the party is taken up a notch with refreshing “champagne showers” – a unique event where everyone can experience the infamous “champagne gun”.
The beacon of The Hideaway is the first and only suspended infinity pool at sea. This pool features an acrylic suspended infinity edge providing 180-degree ocean views. Guests can spend the day sipping on their favorite craft cocktail from The Hideaway Bar while lounging on their own in-pool private daybed or rest their drinks on unique in-pool tables. The daybed designs are unique in that they function as wave-breakers in the pool to prevent pool sloshing, doubled-up as a guest amenity all in one. A pool as unique as this also calls for a novel pool floor design. The Hideaway’s tropic-chic vibe is amplified by the hexagonal pattern of the pool floor, which is complemented by the life of the party, the DJ booth, perched above.
When guests want a break from the pool, the neighborhood features terraced seating with whirlpools waiting for them just a few steps away. Whether guests want to pop bottles on their full-sized daybed in the middle of the water, kick back at the wrap-around bar, or lounge on terrace seating — every view is the best view at The Hideaway.
