Tillberg Design of Sweden is delighted to present The Marina Deck, designed for Four Seasons Yachts I, for consideration in the Best Entertainment Experience category.
The Marina redefines the traditional cruise watersports platform as an immersive oceanfront destination – one that blends entertainment, wellness, recreation, and social interaction into a single space. Spanning Decks 2 and 3, the transversal marina opens across the vessel, creating a direct connection with the water on both sides – drawing closer to an exclusive Riviera beach club or private superyacht than a conventional cruise venue.
At the platform level, the Marina Terrace was designed as a private overwater lounge, with steps leading directly into the sea and a netted plunge pool – Ocean Plunge – offering a calm, protected place to swim in open water while the yacht sits at anchor. Movable platforms and adaptable furnishings allow the space to be continually reconfigured, supporting a curated fleet of watersports toys, including paddleboards, kayaks, pedal boards, e-foils, and Schiller bikes.
A key design reference was the iconic seawater pool and waterfront of Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc – reinterpreted here through cascading platforms and waterside lounges that bring the atmosphere of an exclusive Mediterranean beach club to a yacht setting.
At its heart, Marina Bar shifts naturally through the day: fresh-pressed juices, coolers, and light bites by morning and afternoon, transforming into an understated evening lounge for crafted cocktails, fine wines, and Champagne.
Through flexible engineering and hospitality-inspired placemaking, the Marina Deck sets a new design benchmark for entertainment at sea.
