An all-day venue spanning decks 9 and 10, The Pavilion is the entertainment and recreation hub on board Queen Anne, offering relaxation, swimming, dining and refreshment options in a flexible and dynamic space. With a central stage and large LED screen, guests can enjoy open air theatre, film screenings and live music into the night. The space benefits from an impressive retractable glass domed roof structure (designed by naval architect Martin Francis), inspired by conservatories and glasshouses found at Kew’s Royal Botanical Gardens.

David Collins Studio envisaged The Pavilion as an oasis on board. The design concept looks to counter the ship’s hard architectural shell, with extravagant planting and feature trees to create areas of privacy and frame seating clusters. The interiors facilitate the transformation from daytime hub to live performance evening venue, with gallery and flexible lounge seating.

Each deck has a distinct colour palette, with ‘Pavilion Blue’ created as a unifying signature colour for the venue. A feature corkscrew staircase connects the decks, whilst the mezzanine void edge has bands of white with navy blue trim to create the illusion of the deck 10 edge unfurling into the staircase. A multi-coloured abstract sculpture in painted metal by British artist Sam Shendi stands at the bottom of the staircase. Curated by Double Decker, ‘Genesis’ incorporates the first steel cut for Queen Anne into a Memphis-style sculpture that is made up of the individual letters to spell Cunard.

A multi-use amphitheatre and stage, large LED screen is positioned at the forward end of The Pavilion, with movable theatre style chairs for film screenings or live performances. A 10-meter pool is lined in Pavilion Blue and white chequerboard tiling, with three jacuzzi pools raised on platforms at the periphery. Yellow and white striped sun loungers encircle the pool, with matching yellow striped sun parasols and blue and white striped towels. Guests can enjoy refreshments and food from The Pavilion Bar and Gelateria. Located on the port side, The Pavilion Grill is a second F&B offer serving freshly grilled food from an open show kitchen.

Deck 10 is a mezzanine level, overlooking the pool below. A coral pink and navy-blue colour palette is inspired by a flamingo found on a historic menu card in the Cunard archives. A Wellness Café and Bar in natural timber and white stone reflects the vegan friendly offer and extensive wellness elements onboard Queen Anne.
