Before submitting your entry, read the following tips to ensure you create the best possible entry and maximise your chances of making it through to being a finalist.

Submission Tips

  • Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by Friday 6 September. Late entries will not be accepted, regardless of their quality.
  • Select the right category: Please enter the most relevant category for your entry. If you are unsure which one to enter, please contact Ellie Digney who will be able to assist you.
  • Stick within the word limit: Your entry description can be a maximum of 2,500 characters. Practice writing your entry before submitting it to ensure you are able to cover all the key points in your entry, and within the word limit.
  • Clear Communication: Present all relevant information clearly and concisely. Highlight the most exciting and critical aspects without burying them under less important details. The Judges will be evaluating your entry against many others, make their job easy but ensuring they can easily digest your submission.
  • Be Prepared: Review the required information for your chosen category before starting your entry to make entering as simple as possible. While you are able to save your entry and return to it make any changes you need, save your time by being prepared.
  • Quality Entry: We receive 100s of entries every year for the awards. Ensure yours stands out by making it flawless, easy to digest and that your images are clear and showcase your space, product, or service to the best quality. If you make it to be a finalist, this information is what will be used by the public to vote for you.
  • Get Approval: Please ensure you have all the relevant permissions you need before entering the awards. In the past, we have had to remove finalists at the request of cruise lines.
  • Provide Supporting Materials: You are able to upload supporting documents, additional images and a video so ensure you do to help boost your entry. Anything that can make the judges decision easier will help your chances of making it as a finalist. 

By following these guidelines, you can ensure your submission is complete and professional, increasing your chances of success.
