V-SNAP CS
Turning Open Decks into Entertainment Destinations
Cruise ships are increasingly required to make every area work harder. Spaces designed primarily for relaxation, circulation or daytime use are expected to transform after sunset into engaging environments for entertainment, events and guest experiences.
V-SNAP CS by DTS was conceived precisely around this idea of transformation.
Rather than relying on the large physical movement typically associated with conventional entertainment lighting, V-SNAP CS creates extremely fast and precise beam movement while the majority of the fixture remains substantially stationary.
This allows dynamic show lighting to be introduced into spaces that were not originally conceived as traditional performance venues, reducing the visual and physical impact of the lighting equipment itself while dramatically increasing the creative possibilities of the environment.
On an open deck, a pool area, lounge, terrace or multipurpose space can therefore retain its architectural identity during the day and become a highly dynamic entertainment destination at night.
The fixture’s compact architecture and IP65 construction make it particularly suitable for exposed onboard environments, while its speed and optical control allow designers to generate rapidly changing aerial effects, geometric compositions and immersive lighting sequences from a relatively discreet installation.
Multiple V-SNAP CS units can also be integrated into coordinated configurations, allowing the lighting system to become part of the visual architecture rather than a collection of isolated technical fixtures.
The result is a tool that supports one of the key challenges of contemporary cruise design: creating spaces capable of changing purpose and atmosphere without fundamentally changing their architecture.
V-SNAP CS does not simply add entertainment lighting to an open deck. It helps transform a space that was not designed as a stage into one.
