Nominations are now open for the Cruise Ship Interiors (CSI) Awards 2023. CSI Awards, supported by Global Headline Sponsor Kalmar Lighting, will be returning to celebrate the very best of cruise design on 30 November 2023 at Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe.

All new categories

We are excited to announce that this year there will be 10 awards with 15 winners within two categories – spaces and products. The first category is dedicated to the key spaces on board that take guest experience to the next level and bring the brand to life. The second category, products, will be celebrating the industry’s best suppliers. The cruise industry wouldn’t be what it is without the suppliers that create outstanding products and services that make every newbuild and refit project entirely unique.

Spaces:

  • Most Sustainable Interior (NEW)
  • Best Crew Area (NEW)

This year we will be selecting two winners for the following categories, with a winner chosen for both a small and a large ship:

  • Best Suite
  • Best Stateroom
  • Best Public Space
  • Best Casual Dining
  • Best Fine Dining

Products:

  • The Innovation Award
  • The Sustainability Award
  • The Technology Award
Last year’s award trophies were designed by Spared by Volume Creative, and created using sustainable materials

Judged by industry leaders

Nominees of these prestigious awards will be judged by leading players within the cruise interiors space, including Petra Ryberg (Studio Berg+, formerly P&O Australia), Antonio Di Nenno (MSC Cruises), and Sascha Lang (Royal Caribbean Cruises). CSI Future Leaders Aida Lora (Royal Caribbean Group) and Willie Traeger (Holland America Group) will also be joining them. Together, they will select the finalists who will be announced later this year. The winners will then be voted by members of the community.

Previous CSI Award winners include MJM Marine, Tillberg Design of Sweden, Disney Cruise Line (pictured) and Dansk Wilton
